Kyokushin-kan Karate-do Organization
Born in 1980,
Herat City, Afghanistan, Azadani sensei started practicing
Kyokushin Karate at the age of 12. He opened his Kyokushin
Karate school in Herat City in 1998. Since then not only has
he produced Asian Champions and World Ranking fighters, but
also he has delivered many successful Kyokushin Karate
instructors and dojo operators to the family of Afghanistan
Kyokushin Karate.
In Jan, 2006 -
having been appointed as the Branch Chief of Kyokushin-kan
International Karate-do Organization by Kancho Hatsuo Royama
in Afghanistan, he founded Kyokushin-kan's Afghanistan
Branch.
Attending the
2008 International Instructors' Training Seminar in
Fukushima Japan, he successfully passed his Yondan (4th
Degree) Black Belt test under the supervision of Kancho (Chairman) Hatsuo
Royama. He is currently the highest official rank
holder of black belts in Afghanistan authorized by Japan
Honbu.
In addition, he
has contributed to Kyokushin Karate by participating as a
judge & referee in many International and World Kyokushin
Karate tournaments.
He is proud to
have been awarded Afghanistan National Governmental Medal
(Qazi Mir Bacha Khan Medal) in July 2003 by late, great, and
much missed Mohammad Zahir Shah Khan, the last King of
Afghanistan; and President Hamed Karzai due to his
achievements and martial arts development efforts in
Afghanistan.
Besides his
Karate life, he is a construction management professional
and holds a Master of Science degree in Construction
Management & Civil Engineering from New York University. In
addition, he holds his Project Management Professional (PMP) credential certificate from
Project Management Institute.
His leadership
skills and Kyokushin Karate knowledge has resulted not only
a strong, competent, and competitive team in international
and world tournaments, but also a strong and united
Kyokushin Karate family in Afghanistan.
